MSD intake

I will get her on the dyno and on the track in the fall.
It feels fast.. the tuner was impressed. By the way Jeremy is on
the cover of Vette magazine this month. Good for him.

I guess I should put in a word about aftermarket parts first. When
you leave OEM territory you are headed toward modified and/or
custom. My vette is highly modified. That means it is NOT a cookie
cutter OEM vette. I will cut, burn,.drill or anything else to make
my idea work. That said..................
I have a LS1 engine (C5) I have been told that the C6 version of the
intake is easier to install.
Now the intake--The cowl had to be filed down. I have a blower and
the TB (LS2) had to be turned around because it was hitting the
bracket. I had to order special O-rings for the injectors. The fuel
rails (Holley) were to high and the stands has to be ground down.
The LS2 harness had to be extended because of the new TB
position. MSD sent the wrong SS bolts so I had to get longer one's.
Because of the TB relocation the Power steer reservoir had to
be repositioned forward of it's original position.
So.. now it looks good and I picked some hp what else would
you want????

Does anyone have proof of the substantial gain over the LS2 intake? $900 would be a lot to spend for 50 hp but I've spent more for less before. Might be a good solution in a max effort setup.
Tony Mamo get his hands on one of these yet?

C6 tb clears the A&A bracket. In the fall I will know how much hp gain.
Tuner was impressed with my vette at full bore, but it was a fast car
before MSD +. I have paid less than a $100 and a lot more than
800 for 50 hp. Power cost's coin, we are not talking stick on bling.

So OP.....this is there cathedral or LS3 version? Or is it an LS7 cause I wasn't sure the other two were available yet
-Tony

Very curious how this manifold will do against the gold standard.....LOL
I think this version was released ahead of schedule or at least the schedule I read about (they were initially targeting the fall I believe on the cathedral release).
Good stuff.....will have to get my hands on one of those as well!
