Default Need 17" wheel setup.

Who all makes a 17" wheel to fit the C5?
I would like a 17X7 or 17X8 front, and a 17X10 or 10.5 Rear.
I am thinking about running the 295/45/17 Drag radial.

Default Need 17" wheel setup.

I have 17" "Bogart" front runners with 16" rears. There is not a very good selection if 16" fronts

Are you looking for a home-made drag pack or similar? If looks aren't so critical, you might look at some older C4 wheels (if I remember correctly, certain models had some 17x11 rears) or possibly some older F-body wheels. If you want the best and $$ isn't a problem, I'd go with the Bogarts or Welds.

Default something nice

I would prefer something nice. I thought I would have maybe found something in the classifieds, but no such luck. Do you have a pic of the Bogarts?

Default Wheels

Thanks for the input.
I went ahead yesterday and ordered a set of 17" Weld RT S76 Wheels.
Fronts are 17X7 and rears are 17X10.5
I think I will run a 245/45/17 and Mickey 295/45/17 for the rears.
Should have them in a few weeks.

I love weld's, wish they would step up and make an rts that will clear c6z brakes and fit flush with stock c5 fenders

Default Pic's added RT S76

I got my wheels on, and very pleased with the look.
The car has been on stands for 6 weeks, and the rear has not settled
yet, so don't be too hard on me.
Fronts are 17X8 with 225/50/17
Rear are 17X10 with 295/45/17

That looks terrific.. ! Love seeing some sidewall for a change. I don't care much for the rubber band tire looks. Besides, they hook so much better too.. Great choice.

Default Thanks guys

Thanks guys,
Added a rear view.
I was on the fence about going to a wheel that I had not seen before on a C5, but very happy with the outcome. I had to go to a 17" because I was never able to hook a 18" tire. I tried Toyo's & Mickey's, but the car just blew the 18" up. It should hook now,,,,.

Looks good!! Cool to see something different for a change.

Down the road if you want a little more meat in the back, you can run the M&H 325/45/17. It will fill out on that wheel nicely and stuff the fenders.. Tire works pretty well also..

I am going to try to get to the track tonight,or tomorrow to see if this tire is going to stick the car. I want to retain the sleeper look, so unless I just need the 325 tire, I hope to stay with these.
I could not stick the 18' Mickeys or the Toyo's. This 17" will maybe get it done I hope.
