currently on 7lbs, made 558rwhp on a Mustang dyno (Drivers race against a heads, cam, intake, exhaust C6Z)
With this set up, it feels like there isnt much power/torque down low.
I have been thinking about installing a 11.5:1 LS2 based 402, increasing the boost to 10lbs, methanol injection and calling it a day.
Would it be advisable to run 10lbs produced by a D1SC to 11.5:1 comp?
What size blower and crank pulley are you using? Save your money. You are barely pushing a D1SC at 7 psi. Why not increase the boost with a smaller diameter pulley?
You mentioned there isn't much power down low. What rpm range are you referring to?
You are really selling your setup short........... refine
10lbs +meth on your current setup should make a noticeable increase
with smaller pulley you will also increase tq across the rpm range (including lower rpm)
your LS6 10.5:1 static compression - is well suited for 10lbs with meth

Good afternoon gentlemen,
I have been thinking about [Redacted], increasing the boost to 10lbs, methanol injection and calling it a day.
See changes in bold above.

As a trusted advisor, I would have to recommend that you run 10lbs on your current LS6. Please erase any thoughts pertaining to increasing the compression ratio.
For extra credit, post up vids of you walking the C6Z. Bonus points if you include video of your C5Z decimating a C7Z.

I would absolutely love to do that... But my #7 cylinder has 50lbs of compression, I've reached the point where she is getting built up a bit. I had an amazing race against a C6Z, heads, cam, intake, exhaust, tune. It was dead even. I was impressed with the little 5.7L

You already got two fuel pumps....
I really dislike meth but I do use it on my DD (not by choice)
I drive all over Michigan, I want to avoid searching for fuel.
