I needed the radiator, fans, and 160* thermostat with a bypass drill in it to keep my temps in check with an iron block and Ysi, and will be added an oil cooler this winter.

Don't forget to adjust your fan on/off temps. Especially if the thermostat is changed.

It's up to you. I did a 180 and didn't see much change so I went with a 160. But I run 20w50 VR-1 oil. So oil temps are higher and I needed all the cooling I could get.

Now I'm looking at the slp 160 for my 2002 but it looks like they all come with the hose neck. Can I just get the thermostat or so I need the whole assembly?

Okay. Now I see a lingenfelter 160 for my year and looks like it's just the thermostat. Would that work or do I need the housing.

I'm pretty sure the thermostat is made into the housing on 02's. That may just be the picture of a thermostat on their site.

certainly get the 160* t stat. i don't think radiator is necessary unless you live in NV or AZ but the upgraded dewitt single brushless fan was a game changer on my LSX iron block D1SC car.
