Where can I get the mini alternator as seen in lots of twin turbo kits?

I have one. $100 and its yours. I can send pics to your email. Its been sitting around for a while but was rebuilt before I removed it. You will still need to figure out a bracket and fuel rails. I think the stock rails will clear it. Aftermarket rails will definetly be in the way.

HRPworld sells the top one I believe but when I looked...I only the the "50" advertised..not 150...

http://www.hrpworld.com/store/defaul...nd50-mini.html

The second pic is of my car, I will be with the car on Saturday. If you want to email me on that day, to remind me, I will check the brand and part number.

fixedroofcoupe@gmail.com

and I wanna say it's an oem replacement for an import or something. I have two, one failed on me, I'll end up getting it rebuilt to have a spare probably. I'll be by them both this weekend (saturday-so please email me during day)...the car is an hour north of me.

I just ended up clocking the alternator around like the UPP kits to make room for the header (twin turbo car), and made a bracket myself.

Do you have any pics of your bracket? The alternator has been the biggest pain to figure out.

I only had a small piece of one of the brackets....I had to make the "Z" bracket myself, and shim with washers. It doesn't spin at all, even though I don't have a ton of tension on it but, it's not supercharged so belt grip, isn't as crucial.

Glad you were able to fit a normal size alternator. You would of hated the mini alternator. I struggled with multiple charging issues. Does the alternator spin reverse?

Only issue I have with the mini is a battery charging message when I first start it....hit reset button, gone...until next ignition cycle. Other than that, I have had no issues, even when I daily drove the car.

I'll bump this for anyone interested. I dig around the HPworld site and found the ND 160. I don't think they make the 150 anymore but don't quote me on that. I'd love to got one but damn they're expensive.

sorry to go all necro on this post, but I'm googling around now and cant seem to find the answer. I have an ND 50-90 mini alternator that I'm about to install, but it's 2 wire (green and yellow if that means much) and the OEM is 3 wire. i assume this is lacking a "sense" wire but I cant find which 2 wires in the factory harness to splice into.

you guys have pics of your installs or know off the top of your heads?

I got a Ford alternator working on mine, using these connections. Hopefully this saves you some time.
