Guys...have their system installed and am in need of the rubber hosing that connects turbo plumbing underneath. Anybody know where I can get some? Appreciate the help and thanks.
Joe
I've had my kit on/off the car a few times. Other than the pancake pipes on the cold side, there's nothing really proprietary about any of the hoses that I can think of. Most are just run of the mill silicone couplers or reinforced flex tubes in the case of the induction side.
You're correct, that's for the intakes. Really any reinforced hose would work. I would NOT use the same thing APS supplied with the kit. It tends to collapse under higher work loads and rips VERY easily.
A few years back when this was all coming to light, a few guys swapped out the APS hoses with some kind of reinforced silicone flex tubing that was orange, I remember that much specifically. Could try searching around for that stuff.
If you're planning on pushing the boost some, those inlet setups will become a restriction very quickly FYI.
Yeah I still have those intake hoses. Fastbird is correct that when pushed hard they didn't work well with any heat etc... Vortech believe it or not sells the stuff he's talking about, but its not cheap, but holds up a lot better and its offered in Black. GL!
