Does anyone know a place that I can order just the turbo manifold for my c5 corvette. Theres no place in Hawaii that will make a custom manifold for the turbo.
There are too many variables involved to really answer this. Single/twin, front rearmount, t04/other flange, placement, ect.
Please dont take this wrong but unless you have extensive fabrication skills, you will be much further along with a specificaly engineered kit. Even then, its a major undertaking.
I don't take anything the wrong way Statman any advice helps I just don't have the welding equipment in Hawaii to make a manifold for a turbo. I'm just looking for a single front mount turbo manifold. I've seen many c5 with the setup I can do all the piping I just need the manifold.
Huron Speed may be willing to sell just the manifolds, if not contact JDS99, he can make you a set and it will be the highest quality work you can find for twins.
If you want a single I'm pretty sure Hinson sells a hot side.
Thanks TTblueZ06 ill talk to them. I can build my own kit with everything I need for 2k least then buying one from a performance shop for 6k. only thing I cant do is the manifold everything else I can do stevieturbo.
I've done it both ways, custom and bought full kit.
the major key you're not valuing is time, material, effort and R&D.
there's also a price tag on that, but that's me assuming you're not retired with a full fab shop at your dispose.
i'm curious what a 2k kit performs like all said and done.
I say follow your dreams and document it for the haters
you should check out this build though.
it's as close as to what you're looking for.
