Default Cruise video with windows up

Cruising at 60mph with windows up in 6th gear. Not unbearable. Took my brother for a ride yesterday, we were talking without yelling

Walk around.

Gotta trace down a small boost leak before we can turn on the boost controller and get down to business

Great job on the front mount radiator/ intercooler. I have a similar vertical radiator setup- probably the same intercooler, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it fit in front of the frame. I'm jealous since I had my frame cut to house the intercooler.
How do you have your coolant system arranged now that you have a radiator cap on the radiator? Still using the factory surge tank? What is the radiator cap pressure rated at?

Thank you! I am also surprised how well everything with little to. I modification. Yea I am still using the factory surge tank. The cap on was a 1.1 and I was running into coolant temp issues. To maintain the factory system I just put a non pressurized "dummy" cap on the radiator and kept the pressure through the surge tank cap

Default Scavange pump

Did you have to run any type of scavange pump for the turbo oil drain? Im looking into doing something similar with my c6 and have been searching the forums for people who have used CXRacing hotside parts with a BW turbo but no one seems to mention the use of one. CXRacing states that its required, what has everyone else done?

I am not running a scavenge pump. The turbo sits just high enough to gravity feed

Awesome! Thank you so much, I have been browsing around the forums for info for quite a while now. I really like the surge tank fuel system you have going on. Honestly may do the same. These fuel tanks seem to be a pain in the neck. Id like to do something like you did for my fuel system but use the factory feed as my return.

No problem. Sounds like a good idea! My Fuel system works flawlessly and it's the first time I've done a surge tank style fuel system. It will go on every car from here on out lol

Good luck and keep me posted

Default Got the car tuned today

Big thanks to Justin at Jordan performance and racing for a spectacular tune. It made great power, feels great, and the drivability is excellent. Couldn't be happier With his tuning. Spools quickly and holds power.

On 17psi the Car made 886hp and 839tq with plenty left in the tune.

I decided to leave it there because after all, it's a stock motor and stock drivetrain LS.

She's a beast! Thanks for letting me get my hands on her and show the capability! Not bad for an ebay turbo kit, 1999 computer, and garage build

Now get out there and whoops some *** on the street!

this is a very informative post, I like how you laid out what you did etc. greatly helps others. curious tho, did you debate locating the coils to the frame rail and just run short wires direct? ive seen that done with some of the twin setups and looks like it may have worked well in your setup as well.

are you returning the fuel from the rails to the surge tank? that would explain the third connection. and how does the tank transfer work now?
