Default 3.25 pulley

Vortech v2 a&a kit on 3.4 wanting to do a 3.25. Should belt slip be a concern? 6 rib. Anybody else run this on stock diameter crank

Yes youll want at least an 8rib pulley setup. Use Vortech's calculator to check your impeller speed so youre not over-spinning it too much.

interesting topic. i just put a "3.15" pulley on the 1500 novi instead of the "3.48". first of all the diameter difference as measured on the outside of the belt is 7.7%. more remarkable is that i dont see much difference in boost in my loggs. even with some wishfull thinking thre is no more that 5 kpa. (0.7 psi). i have taken the engine only to 5500 so far (have been doing some tuning changes), but i would have expected to see around 20% more boost.

i dont have any slip, due to good belt wrap and a "hardcoated" pulley.

edit: diam. diff. is 7.7% as opposed to the theoretical 9.5%.

I think there are a ton of factors that lead to what boost you see. Less boost isn't always bad, as the boost you read is air/pressure that isn't going through your motor.

All that said - is there a chart available that shows pulleys and "expected" boost for superchargers?

His post says v2 🤔
Again, that's not the blower, genius. He could have a V2 in a SI, SCi, Or Ti Trim.

3.25 doesn't require an 8 rib. That's a standard pulley for an ECS kit. I made 850rwhp with a 6 rib and a 3.125. Ty Wiseman made 925 on a Novi 2000 and 6 rib.

Flip Drive on both cars. ECS has proven many times 750+ is fine on their ECS Novi 1500 base kit. 6 rib makes swapping belts out much easier.

My car on a 6 rib. Made more on the bottle with the 6 rib.

I also made 700rwhp on an SI Trim with no flip drive on A&A's base SI kit on a 6 rib.

the blower is a v2 Si trim. When that Head unit was released it stated 55000rpm, I don't know why they changed it to 52000rpm.

Probably because a bunch of them failed. I've had multiple friends have them fail. I only put 8,000 miles and weekend track passes on mine at 53,000 rpm, which isn't overspinning it in reality. Guys overspinning them big time.
