How's everyone doing? Any new builds or major upgrades?

This is 10,000% truest story ever right here for my area in central maryland. ive been building my car for 3 years in the pictures i just posted and all i hear everyday is when is your car going to be done and this and that. but all they talk about is how they dropped it off at the performance shop the other day and should get it back in a few weeks.
it might have taken 3 years and a lot of money i had to wait to earn without taking out a loan on. but when it is done. itll be a car i built with my own money on a car that i modded from the front bumper to the back bumper. It never once saw a performance shop to help do something i couldnt do myself with a little time or practice.

It's not for everyone, but it's so rewarding to be able to pop your hood and be like "I did that."
Your car is looking good, it will feel great when it's done!

I had a d1 on it before and broke the stock motor. But yes to be one of the only guys (cause anyone else who says they did it themselves are usually close friends) to pop the hood and say I did all the work myself. Can't wait!

Long time CorvetteForum member here. Have a C7Z, but want something else to tinker on.
After getting my younger brother into his first C5 and turning some wrenches, the bug bit again. Just picking up a low mile C5Z. Going with a basic A&A and blower cam build. Will build and, probably, tune it myself with friends and anyone else that cares to hang out in the garage.
Coming back to the C5 forums, it has been nice to see the technical knowledge preserved and some of the old hands helping and assisting with beginner questions. I always loved the "roll up your sleeves" attitude of the C5 section and don't see/feel that as much over in the C7 section.

I have a ttix twin turbo and staying smaller in displacement will keep from running out of turbo
I'm a bit limited there and running the 58 mm turbos right now
going to 3" champion down pipes and looking for support with Haltech install and tuning on the c5
almost have all the goodies, need a fuel pump looking at the ecs fuel ring and a magnafuel 4303 or other external pump controlled by the haltech
the l33 is a pretty stout piece and you should be good up to 1k hp with it
much beyond that I'd consider the LSX or Dart LS Next
I'm really thinking the LS Next might be on my list but I can't afford it right now and the L33 should meet my goals

The L33 did awesome running 5.3 out the gate on 24psi. Keep it below 30lbs and you should be fine.

Im also in the process of changing setups. Going from a Hinson turbo 7175, stock ls1 build to a forged LS2, custom front mount 78/80 setup. Ill have pics to add soon.

... but i'm finally in a place to continue my build now, and so far, it sounds like Bret's my best bet on knocking out the stuff i ain't got the time or tools to do myself - i just gotta find time in my crazy schedule to call him back.
won't be TOO ridiculous - just a moderate-effort LS1 build for high-600s out of my 2300
