Re: Sorry Guy's..WE Have to WAIT (billreid1@***.net)
Well...........sorry I didn't report back to you guy's last night. Got home very late. With a wife about to take my head off. I got a call that they had idle issues on Wed. night and they were still trying to find out why. So I took a chance and drove out to the shop any way. They found out that a bad plug was the problem, but they had to start the tuning process all over. I think they were up tuning untill 2 am the day before. About 8:30 pm last night I knew it was not going to happen. Mike and Gordy were both working their butt off. So I just gave up for the day. It's a 2 1/2 drive back home and my wife had to get up at 5:30 am. So I am still waiting. Thats all I have at this time. I know that tuning can't be rushed if you want a great product so I will wait.......... I am so tired of getting your hopes up......AND MINE, so I well just say, when I get it I will let you know.

At the end you´ll be happy that you gave them the time to do it right.

Sorry Zogman about your frustrations of going all the way out there and back and not getting your baby as expected, but you certainly did the right thing about not rushing the tuneup.
I am sure you will be all :D in just a matter of a day or two!
Best of Luck,
Nitrovette

Hey SORRY Z06GMAN, :(
I got the call today that my car would also take a little longer than expected. I'm sure all will be good in the end! Mike is a pretty straight up guy and I appreciate him being upfront about the situation instead of lying or not letting us know at all. I'm sure those calls have to be tuff for him!!!!!

Re: Sorry Guy's..WE Have to WAIT (Z06GMAN)
This kinda sucks..... I was planning on ordering the Cerra Turbo for my car, but after all of this, I don't know anymore. I was going to do a self install, and if the shop that makes the turbo can't even get them installed and tuned in a few days, how the heck am I suppose to???? This car is my daily driver, and waiting for 2-3 weeks for it just won't cut it. I was planning on taking a week of vacation time to install, figuring 2 days for install and a day or 2 for tuning at Xtreme.
When I talked to Mike and Gordy they said it was an easy self install

Not to burst anyone’s bubble, but IMHO you are setting yourself up for a big fall if you try to install any major FI system on a car that you must have for daily transportation. Especially if you try to install one that has not had the bugs worked out yet. I would suggest getting a cheap daily beater first and then take your time. Remember, what can go wrong, will go wrong and the pressure of having to get it fixed quick will just cause more problems than you can imagine. I have found myself doing some really stupid things to my car back when I was in that position.

I agree, but the first install is usually the hardest, because you then find little tricks to speed things up.
