Cam or supercharger?
My next mod was going to be a cam...i can do the install myself but not looking to lay on my garage floor taking this apart lol. So my question is i think im being talked out of the cam. To have this installed and tuned its $3,000. a used supercharger is in the same price range...what else is needed with a supercharger? this is a weekend car no track use.

Blower will need injectors, fuel pump or bap and tuning but aside from that it should bolt right on

I think those of us in the FI section deserve a subsection where we can just post polls to show our wives to justify the stupid amounts of money we spend.

All you need is a V-3 or P1X, a supercharger kit and labor will cost you around $8k and that leave you in the 575 rwhp area. Anything over and you will be spending $30k in parts and labor.

Food for thought
With a supercharger your car retains stock drivability. A big cam, headers change drivability especially stop and go traffic.
On the other hand I wound up spending more money than the cost of the supercharger kit i.e. secondary fuel system, catch can system.
There are pros and con to each approach- it largely depends on intended use (mine is my daily driver) and how much money you want to spend.
I went with the A&A kit- 533 RWHP with a conservative tune (I drive it pretty hard). Feels like stock until you get in it- then hold on.
C5s are great cars- you can't go wrong either way!
