Default Broken T56 output shaft and rear case, option ?

75.000 street miles, a couple of track days, some abuse and road races in the mountain chassing modified subaru and lancer street, something like 347 drag race burns and 1/4m runs, gradualy from 350fwhp/street tire to 1000fwhp/26"MT ET Street and just 3 burns and 1/4m runs with stickest new 28" slick tires made a carnage

So, what can be the cheapest resonable option ?

First, why resonable... because i'm 1000fwhp and would drag race a few more time with the 28"... probably not a good option just to replace the stock 27 splines output shaft

Second, why cheapest... because now i'm too fast for doing more than 1 full wot run in official drag race in the two country i use to use (fyi, i live in France where drag race limit w/o cage is only 12s, so now i drag race in Italy where the limit is 11s, and i done 10.4 very easy), so, i just want find an non official drag race to push the limit on the tune and try to hit a 9.9, with nos if needed, but just ONE TIME)

Third... What i have...
- my T56 trans with is broken output shaft (not opened yet, but everything else seems to be ok, but sometime i had to reengage the 1st or the reverse, so need i atleast a additional little work on it)
- my broken 2000 1 rib manual 3.42 diff (case is crack, passenger output seems to be ok, other side not, 3.42 gear seems to be good but i have not opened yet)
- a never abuse or drag race only / stock power on auto trans only used / 2002 3 ribs auto 3.15 diff
- a perhaps good deal with a C6Z diff (don't know if all C6Z have the same diff, don't know the year, and don't know if i can have the tail housing from this c6 manual trans with it)
- a perhaps complete T56/diff/cradle from completly destroy 2007 C6Z (don't know if everyting if ok but i think remember that it have just one of the two broken lower control arm, and don't know if i can have a good price on it)
- some basic tools
-able to do some mecanics myself (have 100% built my engine)
- can ask to expert V8 mecanics some special tools (but no one is specialist on T56 or C5/C6 diff, so they perhaps don't have all the GM special tools for MN6 and GM modern rear)
- have NERVER personnaly open a trans or a diff
- have only 2 persons in my area i will accept they work on my trans, as i'm sure the result will be fine, but, as all best mecanics, they are overbooked (have text one of them yesterday, and is i touth, no reply yet)
- and remember, i'm in Europe, and with transports and custom, everything cost almost twice the price

Option 1 : buy +07 C6Z TR6060/Diff/Cradle/Leaf/Lower control arms + buy or make offset mount + mod the rear exsaust (will be the best before built, but the most expensive)

Option 2 : buy 06/07 C6Z TR56/Diff/Cradle/Leaf/Lower control arms + buy or make offset mount + mod the rear exsaust (the first 8s pass on a modern -aka C4/C5/C6- manuel corvette was a 2005/2006 C6Z and was using his stock T56 trans and diff)

Option 3 : rebuild my T56, updrade the output shaft for a 30 spines, buy a C6Z diff, buy a tail housing from a c6 manual trans (my idea for the moment)

Option 4 : rebuild or buy a used C5 T56, check the gears of my 3.42 broken diff (does i can check this only visualy ?), put my 3.42 gears on my 3 ribs 3.15 auto diff (cheapest option, but risk to break all of them twice when trying to hit 9.9)

Option 5 : rebuild or buy a used C5 T56, put my 3 ribs 3.15 auto diff (lasyest option, but risk to break all of them twice when trying to hit 9.9, and perhaps not be able to hit 9.9 with a 3.15 on a MN6)

Option 6 : have another idea ???

Asks about option 3... i read here ( http://www.z06vette.com/forums/f7/rp...ff-c5z-119261/ hope i can link to another forum ) If you were to install a C6 differential you also need to get the rear cradle from a C6. The C6 diff won't bolt up to a C5 rear cradle.
So, the c6 cradle is for the diff and not the c6 trans ???
And for the C6 tail housing, does i find/buy it from a Z or find/buy it from a C6 27 spines and have to machining it for use with the 30 larger spines ?

Cheapest option only please
I'm sure RKT or RPM trans are bullet prof, but since the RKT best deal is $7,995 +shipping and will cost me something like 16k (transport from us to europe, taxe, custom, change fee...), it can be an option

maybe rebuild the trans with a 30 spline output shaft and rebuild your c5 diff using c6z guts and have the pinion machined to accept the 30 spline output shaft... this is assuming your case is still in one piece... invest in a trans brace and pfadt diff mount as well

Keep an eye out for tr6060 setups. There are corvette parts groups on facebook and watch the c6 parts for sale section here. I found a complete c6z swap for 5k. It came out of a 2012 z06 with 3200 miles on it. If you are patient you can find a individual seller and save some money.

With your horsepower levels you will probably want a c6z or c6zr1 setup. They are stronger than a base model tr6060 pretty sure than a grand sport as well.

- Rebuild the trans with 30 spline output shaft
-->ok

- Rebuild c5 diff using c6z guts
--> have see a post about c6z guts but was about trans and not about diff if i remember, i have to check this, find the parts number, and get the price of them
--> From this post ( https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-z06-guts.html )
Here are the parts and i post the first no eBay Google link and actual price
Upgraded parts
$54.65 - Left axle shaft 89060119 https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...shaft-89060119
$ 64.09 - Right axle shaft 89060120 https://www.wholesalegmpartsonline.c.../89060120.html
$72.35 - Right side gear 19180962 https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...-gear-19180962
$ 6.47 - Right side snap ring 12458084 https://www.wholesalegmpartsonline.c.../12458084.html
2x$168.55 - C6 Z06 clutches 19132906 (need 2)
Amazon Amazon
2x$13.74 - HD spring for the clutches 19132817 (need 2)
Amazon Amazon
$156.25 - C6 Z06 pinion carrier 89060110 https://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts/g...-89060110.html
Parts you need to re-seal
2x$21.74 - Axle seals 88996703 (need 2) --> Discontinued : Replaced by 19259473 https://www.wholesalegmpartsonline.c.../19259473.html
2x$27.79 - Side cover o rings 89047953 (need 2) http://www.rockauto.com/fr/parts/gen...7953,seal,8640
$14.08 - Rear cover o ring 89047954
Amazon Amazon
$24.58 - Trans/diff seal o ring 12369456
Amazon Amazon
$9.76 - Output shaft seal (inner) 19206242
Amazon Amazon
$11.31 - Output shaft seal (outer) 12455045
Amazon Amazon
Misc
$7.38 - Diff stud 88984492 (this mounts to the back of the trans) https://www.wholesalegmpartsonline.c.../88984492.html
So... the total bill just fot the parts are $885.30
As i can buy a complete used C6Z diff for less, not a big deal here

-... have the pinion machined to accept the 30 spline output shaft
--> it's another option i did'nt think about, but probably cost more than the "big deal C6Z used diff" i can buy (with cradle/spring/lower A arms, i have to check this)

- this is assuming your case is still in one piece
--> my 3.42 diff 1rib case is broken, but perhaps pinions are ok
--> my 3.15 diff 3ribs case never see abuse ^^

- invest in a trans brace
--> oh yes, i was thinking about this night ^^ i can try to made them for law cost... i have to see if it's possible or not
$399 here : http://www.eastcoastsupercharging.co...&product_id=67

- and pfadt diff mount as well
--> but i read here ( https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ial-mount.html ) that "many of his customers are removing their Pfadt trans mounts (that's what they call them) because of added vibrations"
not cheap also ($495 as i see here : http://store.afecontrol.com/afe-cont...-97-04-orange/ )
have see hopsier who made almost the same for $100 less ( http://www.shop.hoosierpe.com/C5-Cor...D-20016-DK.htm )

again, a 5k complete swap from USA will cost me 10k to receive here an europe
i dont want pay that just for only 9.9s pass (normally, i'm not allowed to hit less than 11.7s in my country (France) and not less that 10.7s in Italy (where is the closest foreign country drag strip at 200 miles from here), and last time, i hit 10.4 easy easy (but not so easy for my trans lol)
but thanks, if i keep already an eye on c5 and c6 section every day or two days; i did'nt know about the Facebook group ^^
