Happy Holidays to my C5ers!!!
Hey Guys, Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hanukkah!!
Took the old C5 out for a mellow run yesterday, and she still has it!! I recently found a spark plug wire that sits just a bit close to the 2" headers, and actually burnt a hole in the plug wire, right through the insulation...
I changed the wire, and double insulated it. I also went with some new and different plugs this time, BRISK silver high performance racing plus. Maybe it's just that the arcing is gone from the wire, or that the recent work we did to the tensioner has reduced the slight slip I had on the top end, or maybe it's the plugs.
Probably a combo of all things, but this car is still Feisty as hell!! I guess my 335 Toyos are getting a little bit of wear, but I just don't remember having to throttle it so much to keep traction before. REALLY enjoying this CAR!!
Have a great Holiday, here's a pic I grabbed yesterday...
