Default 80mm TB with S/C yes or no ?

..... I'm confused over weather I can use my BBK 80mm TB with a S/C or not, some tuners say yes some say no.
Would this depend on the tuning after the S/C install?
If its tuning I would think it would be a/f which I could tweek. Box reprogram vs dyno/tuning may effect or not.
Tuners please chime in here....... :yesnod:

Tripp ,
i'm certainly no tuner..But common sense tells me that a larger TB would only compliment your SC set up.

When MMS did my ATI install they used my BBK throttle body . My guess is the Tech that your talking to about doing the install wants to keep all the parameters stock so mimimal tuning /PCM remapping will be required.

Not a goor reason IMHO :D

Keep us posted !

.... :nonod: Not true Michael, its yours, i"m inquiring as to why some us it and some don't.
It's based on the tuning ,S/C tuning on the dyno I believe you can make adjustments for the 80mm TB. But a S/C tuning program may have been configured with a stock TB and mean you have to adjust for the 80mm TB afterwards.
To me not worth the time for 5HP if your already making 580 - 620HP from the super charger.....IMHO.......
