2005 c5 6MM trans

Posted over at tech but no response. I read somewhere that the 2005 c6 trans will work in a c5. Can anyone confirm this?? And if so is it plug and play??? Thanks

I know that a C5 rear diff will bolt up to an 05 C6 trans.

Yes the c6 trans will bolt up to a c5, but you have to swap the tail housing from your c5 trans to the c6 trans. This will require you to reshim the extension shaft. Good luck!
