I did my rear mount without cutting the trunk out. I used a T4 Masterpower T70. If I had to do it again, I’d do a custom T4 80mm forced inductions turbo, non intercooled, E85 combo. Here’s a short video of me messing around. Car made 575 RWHP.

USED PARTS.. only used parts I'm going with are the turbowerx pump from JunkC5 I trust him and a used precision wastegate, have all the parts, box, papers and I trust the guy as well. I did buy a Vs racing turbo from Viren. China turbo. Prob never buy a name brand turbo. China turbo quality is up there nowadays. Seen issues with name brands then you rebuild.

good luck

I searched a d found a few threads that say it wasnt that hard. But cant seem to find any pics from where it goes through

.......be careful what you wish for.

Maybe your project will turn out great, we don't really know your experience level so we can't really judge yet. I applaud you for wanting to do it yourself, just seriously be careful what you wish for man. I've see many a person get way way over their head very quickly, spend a crap ton more money than needed while at the same time being exceptionally frustrated with sub par performance.

We are here to help, even if we seem negative at times. Just trying to ensure you get the best bang for your buck and don't end up hating yourself and the car after all the work is "complete."

I dont really want to cut panels. Besides, i heard the hump is for aerodynamics where it splits the air coming out from under the car...

I can promise you that this is absolutely not correct. First and foremost these things don't have anything close to any sort of underbody air control/management, and even if they did that angled portion would do nothing seeing the air would become so turbulent around the exhaust and rear bumper cover lip anyway that it would totally negate anything that angle would achieve. Second, these things are basically the same chassis and underbelly as a C6 which places the mufflers in that area. The angle portion was done to add a bit more storage space in the rear and that's all.

That being said, I don't blame you for not wanting to cute the tub up.

you will be happy with the ttix kit very good quality Huron setup looks nice too. I'm not a fan of the rear mount for other than packaging. You want the turbos closer to the exh valves

rear mounts can work, but I'm not a fan.

So what are you gonna build now?
with all the research I've done, I would not do twin .91 at max .61 for me and I think those turbos too big. I've seen a single s369 make 650ish rw.

I’m thinking .91 ARs on twins will be a little much to spool on a rear mount. I wouldn’t try it.

I would be looking at something more like a 5858 or 5862 for a twin setup, thats like a pair of 600hp turbos. Keep in mind AR is relative to the flange size, so a T4 .64 is not the same as a T3 .64... just important details to keep in mind when shopping. I would honestly opt for T3 / smaller AR so you get more mid range power and top end shouldnt be a problem unless you really start pushing it. All depends on your goals and how much potential you want to leave on the table for later potentially. The tendency I think for many is to go really big, which looks cool but you give up a lot of low and mid range power and generally makes the setup not responsive.

I could not agree more.
buddy of mine is going from rear single turbo to a front mount stand up the radiator and he thinks he needs 3" hot side for big numbers and I'm like bro 2.25-2.5 will be perfect. But he also thinks his 3" single rear turbo is perfect size and doesn't know why it spools slow plus it is not wrapped
