Got my tigershark front in yesterday and did a trial fit just to see how it looked. Fitment seems to be spot on and the preapplied paint looks great. I dont have to trim anything to clear my IC so Im very happy about that. Tonight Ill install the front lip, headlight reinforcement brackets and screens before installing it for good

Where did you buy it? Did it seem flimsy in quality?

Tigersharkcorvette.com

it seemed to have quality comparable to the oem bumper. It is made out of urethane and seems very well made. Once I install the oem reinforcement plates I’ll be able to comment on how flimsy it feels in comparison to the oem bumper. I am not tolerant at all or improper fitment so the fact that I am very happy says a lot. Total time from order to shipment arrival was like 15 days including weekends and July 4.

Hey, sorry if you mentioned it already, but how's plug access with the CX hotside? That's something I haven't really seen/heard about on any of the builds so far.

Not my corvette but this section has been all but dead lately and we all like cars so I thought I'd share what has kept me from finishing up the last little bits on the corvette lately. I got tired of trying to make a reliable 450hp out of my Subaru circuit car so I made a bit of a impulse buy and got a 1991 Nissan Skyline GTR(RHD) that I'm prepping to go fast around the twisties. I'll separate the lists into what was installed when I bought it and what has gone in in the two weeks since I bought it.

As purchased:
Arias 88mm pistons
Carillo Rods with SPS Bolts
Crower Forged Crank
Tomei 260 Poncams
Tomei Type A Valvesprings
HKS Oil Pump
Lightly ported Head
Oil Drain Back Mod
Twin Garrett GT2860R-5
DW800 Injectors
DW1000 FPR (For sale if anyone wants it)
DW300 Fuel Pump(Also will be for sale shortly)
Nismo Motor Mounts
Samco Radiator Hoses
KTS Intercooler Pipes
Divided Turbo Compressor Pipe
Aftermarket Turbo Elbows
Blitz Downpipe
HKS Dragger Exhaust
Apexi Suction Kit
Haltech Platinum Pro Plug In
ORC 550 Twin Disc Clutch
Greddy Profec Spec B 2 EBC(Also for sale)
17x9.5 Volk TE37 OG

Added since:
Haltech Platinum Aux Harness
Haltech Boost Controller
Oil Pressure Sensor
Oil Temp Sensor
Fuel Pressure Sensor
Fuel Comp Sensor
Haltech Multi Function Can Gauge
Haltech Platinum 6 port Can Hub
Haltech Single Wideband Controller
Feal 441+ Road/Race Spec Coilovers 10KF/9KR
R33 GTR Brembo Calipers
GKTech ABS Delete(Fresh Dot 4 Fluid throughout)
Frenchy's Performance ECU Mount
Racepak Display Dash w/ EFI Interface Module(Not installed yet)

Both pictures are before I touched anything so I'll have to snap some new pics and I'll share those up if you guys are interested.

It's been a long time since I've updated this but I have finally started to dig back into this car. Nothing major at this point but I finally figured out a reasonable way to build upper radiator stays to hold the radiator still since it just sits in C shaped brackets on the bottom side. Finally filled her up with coolant but it appears I may have some pinhole leaks in the weld I did for the coolant reservoir drain fitting. I think I may just scrap the one in the OEM location and install a radium auto coolant expansion tank back where the OEM battery used to reside. It's not a horrible leak but everytime I wipe that spot down and wait a couple hours I can go back out and it feels a little bit wet.

Just welded a couple of threaded bungs on top of the radiator and then ran 1"x1/8" aluminum flat bar across and bent it as needed to secure it to the frame rails.

Fantastic build so far with an incredible eye for detail friend.

Are there any race tracks local to you? You mentioned 1/2 mile events as well.

There aren't any that are really close to me. Here's a link to all of the tracks within reasonable driving distance that I'll be using for my testing.

So I've been increasingly distracted by my GTR and don't really have the patience to screw with custom fabbing stuff for this car anymore so I've got some major changes on the way to get this thing running permanently(until something breaks).

On the way out:
CX Racing Manifolds, Crossovers, Collector
Comp Turbo 78/80 T4 divided 1.32
4" Downpipe
4" Midpipe spilt to 3" outlets at catback
Twin Tial 44mm Wastegates

On the way in thanks to Bret:
ECS New Style Backet(Black)
Vortech V3 Ti Blower(Black)
8 Rib Balancer
Flip Drive
3.47" 8 rib pulley
LG Super Pro Headers
LG Offroad X Pipe

The goal here is to eliminate complexity, make the car easier to work on, decrease engine bay clutter and heat and get the car running for this summer. I'm keeping my radiator and intercooler setup so that I only have to fab 1 charge pipe, pin the new balancer to the crank and fire it up. Hoping I can come close to the numbers Podium was making when he spun the Ti all the way up.

agressive pulley combo, i enjoyed the ti on my car. Always wanted to spin it hard but didn’t. Was impressive with 3.47 and 8.0 lower imo

Im getting close to doing an LS1 build with K1 crank and rods, wiseco pistons. I take it theyve held up fine for you? Also, im curious why youre running the Ti instead of Ysi? I wouldnt mind running a Ti but would hate it if I wanted to make more power and then need a Y. 800 would be good, but Id be using 91 and meth. Would love to have a 9 sec slip one day.

Honestly my motor has nothing more than idle time and some short rolls through my neighborhood. I'm running the Ti because it's what Bret had on hand at the moment when I pulled the trigger, I'm sure I'll eventually make the switch to a Ysi.

Guess I'll stick with the ysi plan then. I think the K1 stuff will be fine for me too. Thanks.

The ysi is awesome if your goal is 1kwhp but if you want more go with a pro charger.
