Default fuel pump......

Am told I need to put new pumps on when doing a pro charger? On my 493 hp, LS1....Why?

Because your OEM fuel pump is atleast 15 years old and was rated for a measly 190lph when new. You don't want to cheap out on fuel mods when you are running forced induction, proper fuel systems ensure that your motor is getting the fuel it needs to avoid catastrophic failure.

A walboro 255 will get you up around 550whp on it's own, a bit more with a boost a pump.
