Haltech users, got a question
tuning is a pretty big learning curve and the haltech is a solid system best left to brent to guide you

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
with the 8 channel egt, you can individually adjust the fuel to each cyl to "give it what it wants" to balance out the AF based on manifold and flow variations inherent in the engine
the boost by speed and traction control are the bomb. you can tune both by monitoring wheel spin and ramp your torq curve up to better put down the power on the street. Once you get to "big torq" the factory traction control is useless as it's "beyond what it can do" managing big power. So with the new traction and boost control with the electronic throttle, you can pull timing, adjust throttle, or pull some boost (boost by speed) to help the car better put down the power
another big benefit of this is making steam upstairs in the rpm range to avoid bending rods from too much cyl pressure down low
the ability to still drive the factory gauges is cool and you can also use the fancy panel style haltech stuff which is nice too
you can pass emissions as all the factory sensors are intact and reporting "ok" through the aldl port data stream (LOTS of folks worry over this)
last but not least Brent and Eric are the best. They know they system very well, and will get you "stood up" and running on the Haltech with a solid base tune that won't hurt the car and introduce a world of capabilities over the factory stuff
don't get me wrong, you can do alot with Hp tuners, but not this.
