hook it

so I'm looking for some advice on dragging the c5. I've typically set them up for twisties but want to do some light mods that will help with overall traction.
here's what I'm stepping in:
1. T bar billet rear tranny mount
2. swap out the front shocks, un bolt the sway bar
3. drag raidals, 16s in back on the ccw drag pack, skinnies up front
4. rear shocks?? are there any coil overs that would allow me to soften front for the digs and still adjust for the twisties.
Not opposed to swapping out the suspension pieces for the intended purpose, but trying to make the most sensible mods for street strip.

the viking shocks look really good and are priced right too. This is my first c5 that I've driven with the stock z51 suspension which is actually pretty good!! I still prefer the coil overs as they make the car feel much more planted and stable in a bumpy turn and the adjustable settings are going to be key for a dual purpose car that I don't have to thrash too bad to take to the digs.
How fast are you trying to go? If you want something to stiffen and loosen without breaking the bank, I’d look at qa1 adjustable shocks.

I have a tt c5 z06 that I auto swapped and went 9.84 with just phadt coil overs and a drag pack
I now had a stick c5 coupe with a p1sc and 6 speed with rxt dual disc clutch and an ecs tranny brace.
I'd be thrilled to get that car deep in the 10s but want to keep this one stick.
The QA1s are a really solid choice and probably would work out well. The stock suspension on the z51 is pretty good, but always room for improvement
light mods that will help the car launch and better plant the power is what I'm after and thanks for the tips
great 60 ft by the way!! That's a good target for me.

Adjusting the rears is very easy since you drill small holes in the tub for the adjusters to poke through. Adjusting the fronts requires getting under the car unless you're running wheels that have enough open space to possibly reach up through the spokes (which I haven't been able to confirm yet). Unlike some coilovers I've owned before, adjusting the damping actually does something noticeable with each click. I softened the fronts last night be 3 clicks and the ride is much smother now. I might even dial it down another click or two. The fit and finish of them is very nice and haven't run across one issue during install or adjusting them.

I'm also battling stuffing a 335/30 18 (toyo RA1, last of the dinosaurs, gotta burn em down before they age out)
I have a CCW 12 inch rim. I pulled the inner wheel well to tub it but really these wheels have just a bit too much positive offset and at full travel the tire is rubbing
I'll have to buy some other rims to pull the wheels inward and tub it to make these work or go to a flared fender which is appealing
I've looked at the carbon creations carbon fenders and they really look good. Of course the tiger shark nose will go on (c5s shouldn't be without!! looks killer)
there is a tiger shark for sale right now in blue that makes me drool. Love the look.

Have you tried to dial in some additional negative camber to help them tuck a little to avoid rubbing? Would be a decent temporary solution.
The carbon fenders are nice, but definitely be forewarned that fitment is hit or miss and Pete will tell you that himself haha. I got my rears to fit adequately with some work, but many people give up, just say they plain don't fit, or install them and ignore the fact that the fender sits an inch above the door line lol. I've helped a couple guys with info on where to shave them down to fit better. I've had the front sitting around for a few months, should be able to finally put them on this weekend.
