Default Oil Bypass function

I am ignorant of the directions of flow for oil in the engine.

I have a bypass eliminator and race filters without bypasses built in.

I want to run oiling out to the new turbos from the side port. Is that port affected by the bypass eliminator or no?

Moved to C5 Forced Induction/Nitrous for help with your question.

Brett - let me know if you do not get the info you seek from this new section. I can move it again.

Much appreciated. I'll take a deeper dive in the search function this week too and try to self- educate. It's always good to take in new information.

I DID figure out one thing with my car. I don't need to oil connection bypass delete because the C6 pan I am going to run has no bypass. It seems to all be in the block or the filter, so in my case it will be controlled in the block where I have an aftermarket barbell in place. I just swapped a Melling 10295 up to a 10355 to maintain high pressure while hopefully providing enough additional oil flow for the turbos. Being ball bearing turbos I know I'll have to pick up a pressure/flow limiter for in-line. I also wonder if I will want to route lines for an oil cooler or not .... at which point it will be getting pretty busy down along the block with so many lines and heat sleeves. I am stepping into the unknown and learning with each step. That is a large part of the fun of it for me.

I found this on LS1Tech. I'm not sure if it is universal, though.

I'm wondering if you could "T" off of the oil cooler supply line, to the turbos, then back to the cooler supply line so the hot oil gets cooled before returning to the sump. I believe ball bearing turbos do not require much pressure, just volume which I'm confident you would have plenty of.
Where will your turbos be mounted?

These will be mounted next to the block with direct drains into the oil tank in this case.
