Looking at the Summit Racing mag last night and wondered if putting a small NO2 system on with a H/C and S/C would be like building a bomb or if the 35hp sneaky pete would be icing on the cake? Let me know what ya think.
I had a "Sneaky Pete" on my snowmobile, and spraying it for 700 ft. (in snowmobiling around here, this is equivilent to a 1/4 mile in drag racing), my bottle lasted 3 runs with35hp pills. Great for that, but wouldn't be worth the cost, in my opinion. Good Luck!
A 35hp shot will definately help on a blown vehicle. It will help intercool the charge.
35HP on a blown car could amount to 60-70 rear wheel. This is because of its cooling effect, sort of like intercooling!
However I would not use the sneaky pete bottle as it is less then 1lb.
As a rule you will use 0.8lbs of nitrous for every 10 sec. it is on when pilled at a 100HP shot.
So I would think that with a 35HP shot you will use .28 lbs. for every 10sec. That little bottle sucks......I believe it is 10 oz., however you can get a 5 lb bottle....
Recently saw a shop put dual foggers directly on the intercoolers and had a button in the car on the center console to hit for spraying. Sprayed it on a dyno run and picked-up I think 60 rwhp. Was designed to spray after burnout on the line so that the intercoolers would be pulling in colder air.
Nice!! Wonder how much that set up would run? I'm a novice to N2O but have a pretty good grasp on how the physics work just not the pieces--i.e. bottle warmers, timer, etc. What do ya think on a H/C, S/C, Lt headers, borla exhaust, Ed Wright programming, and a racetronix--a 50 shot?

Jed,
If you are still running the stock rotating assembly...BE VERY CAREFUL, you are already close to the max with what you are running right now.
Yeah I know it's probably suicide for the engine and what I have I can rarely open up unless in the ideal place. Still looking forward to getting up with the RCG and checking out the other cars. Going to dyno beginning of March in Belmont.
I've never used nitrous in the past and am not familiar with it, do people with supercharger actually spray nitrous into their air charger, I thought that would be to much with both the forced induction and the nitrous shot, also can the impeller handle the nitrous.
I think that if a FI car sprayed N2O the fogger would be after the blower say around that convenient flat spot on the side of the procharger air dam. I think I have seen some vette doctors pictures of a similar set up. Definately not into the blower. :nono:
