Default Fun day at track/LPE TT

Went to the track Saturday with some friends. I just ran the car on the lowest
boost(500rwhp)...I ran a 10.5@132 mph on my BFG tire.... I thought it would run a low 11's with just the low boost....but i was wrong :D LPE is Awesome!! My friend took his Cartek 422 Z06 and ran 11.5@127 mph.
He was on his stock tire. Thats great for a all motor car.
Anyway just wanted to say thanks to John L. and LPE for such a great car.

Still keep John L. in your prayers guys.

DJ Self,

Great time!

What type and size BFG tires do you use? Also, do you use stock wheels or after market?

My prayers also go out to John.

DJ , Congrats on an awesome Run !

Why did you lower the boost so much ?? Better traction ?

So your best run was 10.40 on the 621RWHP setting? It seems 121RWHP loss would cost you more than .10 in ET. Either that or it means there is much more to be had from the car on the 621RWHP setting than 10.40. Great times!

Godspeed....Thanks :) My 10.4 run was on the medium setting of boost.
It was also a hot summer day (85-90) when I ran. So yea the car is going to run good on high boost...just need to get some ET streets and another good cool day in the 60's....

DJ, where did you run? I didn't know that the tracks around here were open already? I look forward to seeing your car run this year. BTW, get a cage yet, or are you still getting kicked off all the tracks?

Thats fantastic! I have the same package and rubber. But of course one would have to know what he's doing to get those times. But thats impressive.

DJ SELF, My car ran 11.36 at 129.98mph on my last run after you just left and here is a copy of how the time slip reads :)
R/T 4.99
60' 1.744
330 4.840
1/8 7.360
MPH 98.87
1000 9.589
1/4 11.36
MPH 129.98

This is what the time slip looks like. I am going to the track sat to try to go 10's if i can improve my 60ft, i think i can do it.

Corvette4ever.....The first 650 kits Vettes have around 560 rwhp making it 650 at the motor. I have right at 510-12 rwhp and its going thru a auto trans.
I also have a good stall and gear. Hope that helps.. :)

Freddy thats aewsome..
