Well FLP put a Vortech SC on my 2000 Coupe which was a stretch because the 00 kit is not out yet. I picked up 132 RWHP over my setup from 2001 with no other changes. Went to Byron, Ill. this weekend for a "shake down" test before the Great Lakes Corvette Challenge kicks off on 04/19/03. RIGHT OFF THE TRAILER I TURNED 11.14 @ 124 MPH with a 1.66 sec. 60' time. (I was looking for middle 11's) my follow up run was 11.2 @ 123 MPH. I know with some adjustments my 00 will run in the 10's. Experiencing a belt problem I packed it up and am getting ready for next week!!!
Oh sure don't read my signature stuff!!! It tells you almost everything about this Vette. I run MT/ET Streets 11.50 X 16 Rears (13 lbs.) and 16" Skinnies on the front. I think I can squeeze a tenth out of this setup and maybe 4-5 more MPH.
Re: VORTECH - FIRST DRAG RACE OUTING! (BillY2KFRC)

DOH!!!
Bring that 60ft into the low 1.5s and you'll have your 10 second pass. :yesnod:
The cerpintine belt was showing signs of hitting something. This did not show up in all my preliminary RPM tests. I think the 124MPH might set up a vibration in the belt - checking that now!
