Default A few Nitrous Questions.. Please Help!!!!

OK, IM getting ready to install a Nitrous Express wet kit on my 01' A4. My first question is, is there anything in particular I should watch out for while installing the kit.?.? Also are there any saftey percautions that any of yall would reccommend? With the stock fuel system whats the stock shortblock good for? 150 shot? I plan on running a 100shot at first till I decide I want to go bigger.. Any and ALL information is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!! Thanks..

Make sure you change your plugs to copper TR-55's.
ATAP your car to check for knock.
Make sure you put the correct jets in.
You are good up to 150, unless you are getting knock.

Did you get a TPS switch or a window switch??
THe window switch will prevent you from shooting the nitrous under 3000rpms and the TPS will help you from having to worry about turning traction control off. If you do not have a TPS switch and leave traction control ON and the tires spin, the computer will close the throttle, lessen the fuel, but YOU will still be spraying and that is (Marth Stweart ) BAD THING :D

Make sure you ATAP you car both on and off the juice.

nitrous is sooooo much fun you will havea blast :D :smash:

oh yeah...if you arelooking for a ground, I think the best is the neg. of the batt. I ground everything there, which makes it simple to take off in the future and simplfies everything.

also if you get the FPSS, throw it in the trash, they suck and will give you more problems.

copper plugs are a must.
There is a large grommet under the battery tray that is convenient to route t he N2O line and all electrical through the firewall.
Get a Fuel pressure guage.
Make sure your blow off tube exits the car. With it being summer, bottles can heat up quick.
Have fun.
