Default Nitrous jet setup question

I have a nos wet kit. The 150 shot says a 62 nitrous and a 35 fuel. So I ran a 59 nitrous and a 33 fuel. Those where the biggest I had. I wide banded it and the air/fuel was 10.8. Pig rich. I talked to the dyno guys and they said I could lean it out alittle by goin with a bigger nitrous jet. I got a 63 here and was wondering if I threw it in there, would the car still safe or would that be too much juice.

you should be okay with going to a bigger N2O jet... but be aware that 62 is full 150 shot. Do it on a dyno, and back off if you detonate or go lean.

You should really check your plugs at the track. On the dyno you are not getting as much air flow as you do in motion. Keep it rich!

:iagree: that it is better to be rich than lean.

However, for the purpose of fine tuning, go buy some jets first. Get a 60, 61, & 62. It will probably cost you around $15.00 from your local speed shop. Always go up or down in jets one step at a time (and write down your results).
