I just got a sneaky pete nitrous system brand new for free. I am going to put the jet in my Vara-ram widemouth intake. I remember reading that if you point it towards the MAF that it will freeze it. Is this true? Is the sneaky pete system small enough that it will not effect the MAF. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks
Not to steal your topic, but OMFG, what happened to your first car? Did they cut it open trying to get you out of it or something? Picture like that makes a man want a rollbar...
I figure i will only use it if someone is pulling on me. I am afraid of anything more than the sneaky pete. I have heard some real horror stories about nitrous.
Nitrous can be a good cheap way to add horsepower. It also can be a safe power adder if done correctly. There are always horror stories about nitrous. But there are also horror stories about any other power adder.
You can point the nozzle at that MAF, you just can't put it 1 inch away and point it at the MAF. Mine are pointed at the MAF, but are a good 10-12 inches away, no problems what so ever on my 100 dry shot. You'll love the juice... :smash:
