Been thinking about getting a Magnuson for my Z06. Just wondering how long it takes a shop to install and tune? I asked A&A but it's been a few days and have not gotten a reply (they must be busy doing installations). I would have to drive my car several hours away to get it to a shop and hope the car wouldn't have to be there a few days.
And if I understand correctly most people only get about 77 more horsepower over the Z06 rwhp? Seems kind of expensive for just around 77 hp but, the supercharger sure looks nice. Especially with an aggressive hood.
The non intercooled version is about 5-6 hours and the Intercooled version I would budget 9-12 hours depending on the shops experience. Tuning is not included in the estimated hours. Andy is the man on the west coast but I know he has been going nuts lately but he will get back to you. Give him a call if you cant reach him on e-mail. I have never called and not gotton him on the phone.. Youy will get alot more then 77 hp by the way..
RWHP? If not then we are back at what I said of only around a 77 hp gain.
77
My base dyno was 355 rwhp N/A.
Adding the mag and headers @ 5-5.5 psi my rwhp was 482/422.
Adding a cam and at 6 psi the results are in my sig. which ECS did.
