my bottle will not go over 900 psi, i have a nos warmer and i can leave it on for 10-30 mins and it never goes over 950 with a full bottle any suggestions, ended up getting smoked last night by a cammed ram air on gas with a stall im only spraying 100 shot but it felt like 40 at 800 psi

I had the same problem with my 100 shot setup. Even with the nos bottle warmer I could only see 950psi, and thats with a packed full bottle. I decided to get a blower instead.
NOS warmers are notorious for only heating to ~900 PSI. The heating element is good (300 W) but the themostatis junk. Get a pressure controlled switch from Dyno Tune or Cold Fusion.
joe03z06, there is a fix. Stock NOS bottle heaters come with conservative 85* thermastats and that is why you only get 900psi. You can replace these (there are two) with 95* stats which will give you 1050psi. If you go to ls1.com and do search on/for sept1234 or thermastats you will find that a group purchase or an individual will sell you stats for about $20.00 a pair. I bought mine that way. They come direct from manufacturer who supplys NOS: Portage Electric.
There are a few reasons I would stay with the NOS heater:
(1)NOS heater supplys more than 20% power/wattage than the NX: 300watts -vs- 240watts. That heats the bottle in 80% of the time that it takes a NX heater.
(2)Because the NOS heater is thermastatically controlled, it will heat the bottle wether it is open or closed. (some newer bottles do have a port for pressure transducer (nx) to work open/closed which is good)
(3)If your heater light on your switch goes out (not heating any longer) and your pressure gage reads less than 900psi you have only a couple pounds left: time to get refill. (some like the transducer sys better because it keeps the press steady at 1000psi full/empty which may be better for consistancy at strip but you have to weigh bottle to tell the weight in order to gauge empty/full?)
Hope this helps a little.
take off the thermostat, and watch the temperature yourself. I can warm mine to 1200 no problem
That's a good idea for someone who won't forget, like me. I have my set-up completly automatic, whenever switched ign activates sys, bottle opens, blanket heats to temp, purge is hot and ready. For me, I like the always ready factor, not the, well maybe I'll use the n2o and then wait for press to come up. But not everyone likes that approach. I don't purge my lines every night either, but I have 3-n2o solenoids inline for safetys sake (dual at nossles and one at bottle.
