Ok, i hvae Andy's kit and a buddy of mine has a Porsche 930. He suggested that I put a little electric fan to help push air across the intercooler, he said that is what alot of Porsche guys do to help cool the intercooler since it is in the rear and on top of the engine.
I looked and I have plenty of room for a 8"-10" electric pusher fan.
I know a someone that tried this on their car and for what it cost for a fan, relay, thermostat, wiring harness and installation tit wasn't worth the money or effort. He eventually removed the fans and had a big custom FMSIC built that hepled out a ton.
Another option is to spray the intercooler with C02 or Nitrous, I have the C02 setup on my car and it freezes the intercooler in about 10-15 seconds. Since I got my big FMSIC I only use it on really hot days or before a run at the track. Otherwise the intake temps are way down once I start moving.
