Andy - I'm not sure what a good deal is. The only numbers that have been posted are $1,650 - $1,750 ish. That just really strikes me as high for a clutch ( I realized it does include a replacement flywheel ). Perhaps I'm just too picky..

Yo Kingpin wasssss up?!?!?! I'm glad to hear that your Excedy Clutch worked out....
I absoultely love mine...it's awsome the way it grabs. I love everything about it. Not to mention Andy was great about sending the clutch out to me ASAP since I was having some motor work done at the time.
Needless to say, yes it's a bit more, but well worth the investment for us go fast junkies!
Glad your happy, I'm getting one put in my car this week.
Thanks you will love it!!!! I need to learn how to drive it all over again.
You can't try to slip it like the Spec Let just say I have stalled it a few times
Has anyone been able to compare the Exedy twin disk setup against a McCleod twim disc setup.I've installed lots of McCleod's but never an Exedy.
Maybe someone has so input?
I've tried stock, 2 McLeod twin streets (1 all organic and 1 with 2 sides organic, 2 sides kevlar) and I can only say that it was always a bear to shift into reverse new and after they were broken in.
The pressure plate design of McLeod is an old design an really just does not compare in my book to the quality of Exedy. I will also say the clutch is a little easier than the McLeod when new and like others have said the engaugement point is roughly half way off the floor.
I'm very happy with the Exedy and thrilled that my car finally shifts through all the gears like when it was stock.
Since I am getting my car back soon. What is the break-in procedure???
Thanks
I've read different things, but I'm holding the install instructions in hand and they read on Page #6 at the top under Caution during operation section:
After installation, drive carefully and gently for approx. 300 miles (500km). If the clutch is used in a condition where the friction surface is not contacting fully with the mating surface; It will cause burning, judder/shudder or short life.
