This is another one of those whats your favorite color question. Each tuner has there favorite parts. Here are some of the more popular ones.

Heads LS6, AFR, or 6.0
Cam 21 Cent Blower cam, MTI G1
Pistons Diamond, Wiseco
Rods Eagle, Lunati
Gaskets, most use Cometics(spelling is wrong)
Bolts, most use same ARP
Most tuners use the Stock crank. Its good to around 800fwhp

Hope that helps

Default Motor

If you are going to take Motor apart, change the crank.......... I just did the same thing and I think its worth it.

ya you dont really need to upgrade the crank unless you want to increase displacement

there are people that have pushed over 1000 hp on the stock crank

Here is an idea of what I'm doing and go from there.

346 with Diamond pistons,H beam rods (9.5-1)
AFR 205 heads
216/220 .580/.580 on 115 Cam
lowering oil pump pressure for 60psi at WOT (80+psi now)
running my P1 at 10lbs

Easy 650rwhp with killer midrange.

Dont over do it and try to do it yourself. Call one of our tuners over in the states to try to get all the parts you will need. They would be more than happy to give you the parts you need to asemble everything. You can call David at MTI 281-870-8787 and I am SURE he will give you awesome prices and fair shipping to your country.

I know this...LOL Most of the parts you are going to buy to forge your car wont be from your country. I am saying call one of our awesome tuners stateside and get their advice on what to go with as well as you are able to buy it from them for a decent price. They can help you decide on compression and so on for your specific aplication.
I have 9.0 on my new setup just incase you were curious.
They also are very reasonable on shipping.

If you don't get it tuned right you'll pop your forged motor just as quickly.

Sorry to hear your motor failed soo quickly. Save yourself a lot of time and money and get your replacement motor from one of our top-notch vendors (ECS, for example). ECS can also supply you with a tune that should keep the new motor living a lot longer than your old one.

Good luck,

Mark
