Accessory Power Question
I understand that in 04 GM did not provide the extra switched and live power connection plug near the passenger footwell computer and fuse box area. Two questions, is this correct, and if so, where is the best place now to connect to both switched and live power for new accessories? Thanks

Yep. I used a Littelfuse Add-A-Circuit to power my cutouts since my shiftlight needed to be on it's own circuit. That was already taking up the accessory tap next to the BCM. Here are a few pics of my install. (Ignore the last two pics.)
