you have several very good choices. Cartek, ECS & Vette Doctors are all reasonably close and each has a very good reputation. There's absolutely no need to go any further.

As reputations go on this board and for your part of the country, you can't go wrong with any of these three.....

LPE is also doing head/cam packages - they can get as much as 450 rwhp - a fellow on this board got this power from his 02 Z06 with head/cam swap. Pulls strong to 7000 rpm! This is with the stock Ti exhaust, so with a freer flowing exhaust, a few more hp could be possible.

If you buy the package, it will include Kooks headers, exhaust of your choice, underpully, etc., and all this for:

$5995

Cannot go wrong there

Actually,

That isn't correct. $5995 is for the head/package, but does *not* include: Clutch upgrade(recommended), ASP underdrive pulley, aftermarket exhaust, or intake. Those are all 'options' that add to the total cost of the package. I walked out the door for $7400, which is a bargain for the power(I'm the one DDS is referring to in the above post), reliability, and *warranty.*

What kind of power are you putting out with $7400?

Vroom:

442rwhp SAE, through the stock cats and stock exhaust. Drives like stock until you mat it. I know there are other packages that produce more top end hp, but you can't beat the combination of power, reliability, and perhaps most importantly the *warranty* that LPE provides. Wanted an LPE car since 1986, another dream achieved!

Thats good for stock exhaust, specially for having the warranty, etc. I was just curious of various vendor's h/c pkgs.
