I installed the Halltech Stinger a few weeks ago. My garage does not have enought light for my digital camera. Well, I took my baby out for a little bit today and figured it would be a good time to snap a couple of pics.
Enjoy...
Here is one under the hood...
And one from the front (The wax job I did a while ago still looks good!)
Nice install, I bet you really enjoyed taking your baby out today.
thanks for the compliments..The conditions weren't ideal for a ride, but the car needed some exercise and I wanted to make sure everything was installed properly. (i.e. No codes from the PCM)
I was going to mention the same thing. The wax looks great! The intake looks cool! But, it looks like you emptied your vacuum cleaner bag into your engine compartment. Simple green and a nice hose down should do the trick. Just make sure the engine is cold and that you use a leaf blower or other device to dry the bay, especially the intake and under the fuel rail covers.
How's it going? Haven't seen you in a while. Great job on the Stinger!!! So how are the roads out today? I saw that the temps are up to 33 degrees. Are the roads semi clear? I was thinking of going out tomorrow with the vette for the first time in 3 weeks. She's perfectly pristine and I hate to take her out with all the snow and slush out but I just can't take it anymore. Maybe I'll just drive a few feet in front of the driveway.
Hey Alex,
Things are going pretty well, just really busy at work. The roads are basically clear, but still a bit wet in spots and salty all over.
If you don't want the car to get dirty, I would not go out there. I bought mine to drive...She was already dirty when I went out; I am getting a lot of grief on the dirt in the engine compartment, I am glad I didn't take any pictures of the rest of the car!
