Did mine last year and definitly like them. You have to be very careful when putting them on because if you line them up wrong your seats won't go back all the way (I am 6'5", this is an issue) and too far back, the glass hits when you put the top down. If you take the time and line them up, you can have a great result, I love mine. The only side issue is that you have to find a decent way to finish the carpet back up in the area where you cut. (If you go to my website, in the howto section, you will see what I mean)
I've got them from Caravaggio, matching leather. The small plates at the bottom of each bar (rather than one large one) fits very well to the top of the waterfall. That makes it easy to epoxy them, since close adaptation is necessary for exceptional hold. The small plates make it easy to cut small X's in the carpetting and placing the bars correctly then stitching them closed.
***Make sure that you put the vert top halfway up to see that its frame fits outside of the bars. Wish I had this advice as the passenger side of mine is about 3/16" too far outboard and if I'm not careful, the frame scrapes the leather!!!
Which brings me back to the exceptional hold of the epoxy...I've been trying to get that one off for 2 yrs now.
No problems with mine....love the look. I used both screws and epoxy....took about an hour to do both...... nice part og the carrvvagio(sp) is the leather will then sit down on the carpet an dyou cant see the cuts.

I did mine last summer (sorry, no good pics right now) and love them. Got them from West Coast Corvette. They were very easy to install. The part I like about their bars is that the base fits almost perfectly in to position and there is very little room for them to move side-to-side. Anyway, I saw someone else's attempt at cutting their carpet, and just KNEW I would **** it up myself, so I then took it to a local upholstery shop and they cut the carpet and glued it back in place. Did a great job and only charged me $45. The only tip I would give you is, once there are glued in place (should you decide to glue them), put your waterfall down, and place a towel folded 2 or 3 times between the bars and the waterfall until the glue sets. This will ensure there will be no contact between the bars and the waterfall, and will still let the seats go all the way back. Good luck, and post pics once installed fi you decide to do it.
Don't know where you're located, but our company mfg's and installs the roadster bars. We installed many sets at the NCM Birthday Bash and they look awesome. Have them in my 04 CE Vert.
As a word of advice, don't epoxy them in.
