Default Underhood mirrors

Are there any kits available? I've seen them for the trunk but never for the hood.

You mean like this:

Try here:

I think Mid America now carries this kit as well, I recall seeing it in their catalog.

sorry for the ignorance, but do you drive the car with it in place, doesn't daily driving ruin this or this is just strictly for show?

Oh yeah that's exactly what I'm talking about. Same question: Do you drive it daily or is it just for show? Thanks for the information.

Same question, but re: engine dress pieces.

Do most guys with several hundred dollars (or more) in engine dress covers and pieces, drive daily with these installed?'

Or are they like a set of Lloyds Mats. and you only put them in for shows and events?

I daily drive my car except in the snow/salt of winter.
Everything you see in my engine bay stays there 100% of the time. The entire engine bay gets detailed weekly, or whenever I wash the car.

I daily drive it with the Lloyd's floormats in too.

As for the underhood pieces. They are just polished stainless steel. Driving with them in place won't hurt them.

I don't have them, and have never seen them in person yet.
I have heard others say they don't look that great, due to the contours of the hood, you won't get a true mirror effect, it ends up looking very distorted.

I think it looks pretty good. I don't know that I'd go with the full underhood package. That's a bit much.

Wonder how much that stuff weighs?
