The FE1 suspension is the base suspension. there are a lot of easily "do-able' upgrades. I have an FE1 car but it has Hotchkis sways with urethane bushings and Bilstein sport shocks. It isn't a Z06, but it still rides pretty good, and handles great.
You can also add the Z06 sway bars and change out the shocks for a little less than the setup I have. Check out the C5 Parts section right here on the forum and look for take-offs.
As far as the window sticker, the only way I know of to get a new one is through the Corvette Museum. Look at it this way - you get what you want, and you support the Museum at the same time. For $100, you can get the build sheet, window sticker, original dealer brouchure and the Black book as a package.......

Your suspension is made for the softest ride, but the worse for handling. I had the same suspension and just replaced the stock sway bars with Z06 ones from Fred Beans who was selling them at dealer cost. I had to order the entire kit (sway bars, bushings, and metal end links) because my 01 had plastic end links. After 01 I believe everyone has metal so if your car is newer you might only need the sway bars and bushings.
As a note the FE-1 sway bar (especially the front) is tiny compared to the Z06 sway bar. You will notice an increase in handling with the new sway bars. Also, adding better shocks will only make the car handling that much better.
I did the front in about 1.5 hours and after figuring out the right way to take the rear off I did the job in about .5 hours. (It took me about 15 mins to figure out how to get the rear off with breaking my knuckles).
