Ok. So... is there anyone out there in the MD, DC, VA area that actually drives their cars on the track (i.e. Summit, VIR, WGI, etc).?

I haven't had the opportunity since moving east to even get there (VIR) as a spectator! Interested in what the others are doing though.

Most of the guys that run the road race tracks hang out in General - Autocross and Road racing forum.

I entered a Mazda Driver's Education event at VIR on March 26-27. I believe several forum members will be there. Come on out and check it out.

No. They just sit in the gararge with dead batteries. Occasionally we jump start them to drive them to car shows we never win. We then go home and park them in the garage till the battery dies again while we're online buying more mods for a car that never gets driven. We accumulate mods in our garage and basement that we never actually put on the car. 2 years later we sell the mods in the for sale section for 25% of what we paid for them. At that point we realize the only mod we really need is a batter tender to keep the battery charged in a car we never drive.
