Default Aftermarket Stereo installs?

Anyone have any information about tasteful installation kits for your C5 aftermarket stereos? Driving without my sirius satellite radio really sucks, I'd like to get back into it. Any pictures or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You should find a number of posts on this topic in the Audio/Electronics section of the Forum. Good luck.

hey gray, thanks alot, I looked for a section like that before I posted, I must have missed it

My question must not have been clear, I already own a sirius system, but I just was looking for a tasteful mount picture of how a normal aftermarket stereo size looks in that big GM hole.

You're welcome. By going to the Search Forums feature, typing sirius in the Key Word(s): dialog box (left side of page) then presssing the Search Now button (botton of the page), I was able to find a number of topics on this subject. You might give that a try also. Hope this helps and good luck finding what you are looking for.

Is that the Pioneer with the Nav system? If so, how do you like it, where did you get it and how hard was it to install?

Yes, it is a dvd navigation system. I bought it on Ebay refurbished for $1200.00 and like it very much. It is very accurate and was not that hard to install (Thanks to the forum). You do need to tap into the speed and reverse sensor wires through the front passenger side wheel well, but definitely worth it.

My screen did totally block off the center vent when it was flipped out. Thats why I reversed the head unit and the climate controls.
