The light from the silver star bulbs are much less yellow they are color corrected for "whiter" cleaner light not unlike the GE reveal bulbs you can purchase for your home. What I did to save some cost is use siver stars for the low beams and I used the Sylvania standard "blue" bulb for the highs. They look almost the same so im not sure what you get for the extra $ you pay for the silver star name.

Bingo, that is exactly what I am saying. I still used my brights when possible, but the low beams are more vibrant. I live in a rural area so I was able to really test the lights last night. I really like them, but make sure you set your expectations with what is reality.

Watts are watts, the onlt way to make more light is to raise the wattage, the color of the light 4k 5k etc makes no difference.

I have 100 watt lights in my low and high beams and have no problems at all.

My fogs have 60s, If I remember correctly

Wattage baby wattage

silverstars do suck badly. The RevExtreme's are the way to go.
