Silverstars only give you a whiter light not more light. The left one (passenger side) looks stock.

I vote for the license plate as being the brightest.

And I am going to guess that the passenger side headlight is the original. The Silverstars are whiter not brighter. Its not like a xenon headlight.

I also have to say the left one looks a little less bright that the other. I have seen other photo's which show a bigger difference though.

Congrats on getting bitten by the mod bug too! Well your left one is definately stock... well here's a question for you... which one is stock on my vette?

I went with the Xenon's and couldn't be happier. There is or was a group purchase going on by a new vendor here, blinglights I believe...
You could do them as an alternative...

Well you guys are right, passanger is stock, at least you can tell. In all honesty there is more of a diff. in person, they are alot whiter. Here is a pic of the light diff. shining on my ricer/beater. By the way I will put the black plate cover on as my next mod, screw the law . Followed by the halltech I have waiting in the box, then maybe a lowering job.

Should be able to notice some difference when driving. The stock lights are pretty poor in giving good visibility.

My 99 Vette headlights remind me of the lighting from my 1972 Nova.

Too ironic - I just put mine in yesterday (bought them a month ago). When I compared the two I could easily tell the difference during the day (looking directly at them). What I did notice last night was exactly what everyone says and that is they are not brighter but they give what appears to be a more pure light (if that makes sense). I really want to get a look at them from another car, since I am certain the difference is noticable and they probably aren't to harsh for on coming cars.

Are you saying that the distance you can see at night is about the same as the OEM headlights.... but what you can see, you can see better with the whiter light?
