Sequential Turn signals..Comments
Would anyone care to comment on the manufacturer they choose, any problems encountered and price paid.
Thank you. I had heard from another member the components were not weather tight and did not hold up.
I just flush mounted the tail lights on my Z06 and thought this would further enhanse the rear view. Good luck

Got um, love um also do third brake light flasher at same time. Only hard part is cutting wire harness. Took a some extra time just standing there with wire cutters in hand before I was sure I really wanted to make the cut.

Sorry folks.
My instructions from Web Electric and on their web site -say cut wire on each side. I just followed instructions and they worked as promised. I also put relays in Zipc lock bags and taped them twice with Duck-Duck tape.
Third light flasher is another flasher not a part of sequential flashers. Its a great way to back people off when following to close.

When I put mine on last year they did not have the new plug and play.
Sorry bout that -I just went to their site. Sure enough they went and upgraded to true plug&play. They are great people to do buy from.

Zip Products and Webelectric both have plug n play harnesses.
No cutting required.
Make SURE the all the modules are facing DOWN on the install. Somehow mine ended up side down (tired and didn't catch it). Next car wash and 3 days later and they didn't work.
Webelectricproducts was truly fantastic about fix/replacement. The instructions now say to leave open end of modules down. Didn't know the back of the C5 was so open to water and moisture back there.
The other... all that di-electric grease..... Use it. Looks really messy, but it protects the connetions against water shorts and corrosion.

I've got mine on the way and should be putting them in next week.

Enhance your safety by adding Brake Light Pulsing to the third brake light of any car, truck, minivan or SUV. The BLP-1 pulser module connects to your center high mount brake light (third brake light) and automatically pulses it when you apply your brakes. The light will pulsate on and off for about a second, then stay on steady for as long as you press the brake pedal.
The unit is designed to create a gentle fluttering of light, so your car is more noticeable, yet it doesn't aggravate the driver behind you. The "Delay-Repeat" circuit means the brake lights have to be off for at least 10 seconds before the cycle can be restarted. So, if you are in bumper-to-bumper traffic, the brake light isn't always pulsing.
The turn signals was a snap and easily done.
The 3rd brake light flasher is a PITA. The brake light comes on but no flash. The instructions have been followed EXACTLY and still nothing. Took it down to Orvacs and had them test it and it does work.. does flash but not when its installed in the car.
Could it be the wiring harness on the car ? 2003 coupe
Any suggestions ?

I used web electric also. Very good service both prior to and following the sale. You'll really like the look. I have red/amber euros and the "blink blink" really sets them off. Good luck with setting up.

I note you have a '98 (per sig).
If your Vette is older than '00 you MAY have to change out the turn signal relay (a VERY time/expense issue).
I still have the one I purchased from a Forum vendor in my work cabinet. I attempted to install, and it would NOT work.
I called the vendor - who informaed that 'sorry, but you will have to change the relay".
So, be careful, and investigate first.

Go to THEIR WEBSITE
and scroll down the left margin until you see Online Installation Directions....then down to "special note on Corvettes".
GOOD LUCK!

I aksed -L at webelectric why not just fill the open end with silicone and make it a completely sealed unit. He responded by saying that temp differences and humidity could condense in the unit and render it useless.
I'm just very grateful that for whatever reason mine went open end up, instead of open end DOWN, like there should be, he fixed them and returned them to me in about a week!
Great communication if you every have any questions about them
