I got my kit today. They blink quicker than what is represented in the .gif pic

They do look very cool and I like them. There is one problem though, while the blinker function works fine, the hazards are a little funky now.

Anybody else having issues with their hazards after installing the kit?

Put my tail light sequencers in - took about 20 minutes. Look great.

Have not put the high mount brake light pulser in. For those that have done it, is the C5 a one wire or 2 wire set up? I'm nervous about making the "first cut" (its the deepest or so they say).

Thanks

The pulser is a 2 wire lamp.

The pulser has one 3m connector, (for ground), and cut the other wire then use wire nuts.

Very easy, no big deal. If you wanted to get fancy, I suppose you could use some butt connectors for a more secure connection.

If you want to take it out (like to sell the car or just take it out), no big deal. Just remove module and put the orginal one wire you cut back together w/ wire nut or butt connetor.

Good idea, but it won't stick because of the dialectric grease. Borrow an idea from the antenna industry and wrap the connections with Coax Seal. You can then wrap it with electrical tape for further protection if you want.

What does 'a little funky' mean?
