Default Installed Battery Tender Plus, ????

Is it O.K. to install the Tender Plus and then cover the car? I've heard stories about the battery needing to breath and such. The car is garaged and I left the hood open a smidge and covered the car with the indoor flannell lined cover, which I believe is a breathable cover. I placed the Tender Unit nearby on the outside of the car on the floor unobstructed. Just wondering if it is O.K. to leave the clips connected under the car cover. I just spent 2 hours cleaning the car today and would like to keep it clean.

Perfectly okay here, mine has been exactly as you describe above since late Oct 04. I only disconnect it when I start it up every month.

Me too. I've got mine covered with the hood just resting on the latches. There's plenty of circulation under the car.

No problem...been covering the bike for years with the tender hooked up and now the Vette for the past two winters. Not to worry.

My first Corvette and the 2002 I bought new have been covered with a battery tender hooked to it. Never an issue!
