Congrats and Welcome.

Now I know you are excited but,
What color is it?
What wheels are on it?
What are your planned MODS?
etc. etc. etc.

Only kidding.
Oh, brushing your teeth is easier after you take a trip around the block.

When I bought mine - I was as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs....to the point that I was making myself sick! When I signed the papers and they handed me the keys, I damn near cried!

I had gotten close before only to have things fall apart at the end. I had wanted one for what seemed like forever.

After I had it - my wife asked me if it was anti-climatic. My answer was this stupid $hit-eating grin that I still have when I get near the car - it was everything I ever dreamed it would be and MORE!

You'll be fine and you will never regret a moment of it - forget about the money, you can make more!

You think it was a lot of money NOW, wait till the mods start. Now thats a sickness there is no cure for.

Congrats on the new ride but we need the particulars on it
Good Luck

At this time - you’re at a crossroad. Relax it will be fine. Enjoy the moment & savor it. The vette experience has just begun. Good Luck.

Wish you had told me that earlier. I wouldn't have tried to close the deal on Monday. IT FELL THROUGH! The glass top is damaged and they absolutely refused to deal with it. It seems that someone put what looks like duct tape on the glass top by the drivers side front to back across the whole top. Of course, they tell me they know nothing about it but it seems to me that someone must have taped a plastic sheet over the passenger window, most likely at one time the window failed to come up. They knew about it but everytime I saw the car it was either filthy outside or inside in dim light and, STUPID ME, I didn't notice it before. The top is a showstopper but one other thing really aggravated me .. they left the car dirty and used spray wax to shine it up, OVER THE DIRT! I already laid $600 down as a deposit that I must know get back. Of course, the sales manager left 10 mins before I cancelled the deal and the salesman I'd have to wait till tomorrow to work with the sales mgr to get my $$ back. Sux, huh. Anyone know some spectacular buy out there near NY. I live about 20 miles north of NYC on the west side of the Hudson River in Rockland County. Must be automatic, HUD and most of the other goodies, stock preferred at this point, I'm not really into mods (certainly not yet).

Bummer, I feel sorry for you. What a letdown As for the top being damaged, did it look like this? About 4" wide frt. to back on passenger side? I don't know about the 2000, but common flaw in earlier models. As for the wax and dirt, you would most likely rework your paint quality anyway (ex. clay,Zaino) They may come back with a better offer, whichever way it goes good luck
