Default cam specs

Hello fellow members i am in interested in buying a cam for my 2002 zo6. I have kooks long tube headers and off road x-pipe. I have granitelle intake with the coupler. I also have a short shifter. The car is untuned and put down 381 rwhp and 380 rwtq. But anyways i live in allentown, Pa and wondering where is better to go to get a cam installed. Cartek or TT performance. Please anyways with expereience please speak up. I am also wondering what size cam i need to get to atleast 425 HP if it is possible with just the addition of a cam and a tune. I am still learning so numbers would help if people have the same set up plus a cam and tune. Thanks, Brian

Cartek has great cam packages. I had a 2x cam that made around 400 rwhp but ran 10.96 at 124+ mph. That's there baby cam.
With their 3x cam my car put down 433 with many bolt ons.
All of their cams are proven at the track and on the street. Both cams are very streetable. I would highly recommend talking to Dave and pick his brain for knowledge. He will get set u up with any package to fit your needs. Use dyno numbers as a gauge but any package from that shop will fly. Goodluck, pm me anytime.

G5X3, T-rex, Cartek 3x, TSP magic stick(237/242)... All should put down power in the range you're looking for with the right tune

TTT
rob what other bolt ons are we talking about. I am looking for around 425 HP with the edition of just a cam if thats possible. Nothing to radical because still got to be enjoyable to drive.

Your setup with a G5X-3 should put you around 425-430rwhp.

Would this be real radical and not enjoyable to still drive. How much you think something like this would cost to put in and tune my car. Where would i go to get it done cartek or TTP.

I also recommend the G5X3. It is very streetable with a nice lope to it. I put down 439.5rwhp with this cam, LGM LT's, Under drive pulley, Halltech Stinger, and a Borla Stinger.

I agree 1000%, as this is the one modern update cam, which has consistently put down 425+ rwhp, on a 02 and newer Z with the normal bolt ons (including headers and a tune of course)!
