when they stop working try moving the tilt up and down and the tele in and out. if that fix's it then you have a loose or broken wire on the turn lever( just had mine fixed)

There have been a number of previous posts regarding this issue. The consensus seems to be that the problem is stemming from the hazard switch in the dash. People have had the hazard switch replaced in order to correct the turn signal malfunction. I checked my VIN records and apparently my hazard switch was replaced under warranty ( not sure why though). Just something to think about and maybe someone else can elaborate.

You mean you changed out the switch and the turn signal continued to malfunction? Any idea why it didnt fix the problem? You think it has something to do with the turn lever instead?

I have had this problem several times. I luckily read the thread about the hazard switch. When it happens to me I cycle the hazard switch several times (quickly) and it goes away. It's worth a try...

Next time they fail to work, push in your hazard button on the center of the dash, turn it off, and then see if the turn signal works. If it is 'magically' fixed with this technique, then there's a really good chance that the relay that's immediately behind the hazard button needs replacing.

A new switch is about $35 and how to replace it is shown here: link to how-to replace relay

I replaced both my DRL's and the problem went away...seemed like TS worked fine, then more and more acting up, then right DRL burned out, replaced both, no TS issues since.

?? No idea. Just concidence? It's been 2 months now. Any BS flags?

Kidding aside, it's the hazard switch.
