I regularly get 20-22 mpg with my 98 C5 Coupe daily driver. I drive easily, most of the time, and have a 20 mile one-way drive (with few stoplights) to work.
17 to 22 on my daily running around mixed traffic and some expressway. Best so far has been 27.8 on a run down to St. Pete' from Syracuse back in October when we bought this '98.
i average about 22 overall and on the highway i average about 34. this was before i put the cam in though. Havent drove to much with cam but gas mileage is down a bit.
I get 19 city, 29 highway. I drive fast but then i drive in 6th alot to even it out. This week ive been getting 16 city because i just got the slp loudmouth (cat-back) and love to rev it up and have had other cars rev'in at me all the time so.... you know what happens next.
I average 18 to 19 but it's not pure city or highway. It's a combination, to include stop signs, lights, the occasional train, a few miles of 35, 55 and 65 MPH sections. That's daily real world for me. Plus I like to hold my gears a little longer than I should just to hear the B&B PRT's
But I have run a max gas mileage test with my 99 MN6 coupe and now my 03 Z and have gotten just at 30 MPG on my 140 mile test route from my home up to Effingham and back again.
